Wednesday, April 08, 2009A short walk through the centre of Paisley at lunchtime produced the unexpected find of a Dipper repeatedly flying up under one of the bridges (presumably visiting a nest). The only other birds of note were a group of drake Mallards (again, I assume the females are on eggs). No sign of any Mute Swans attempting to nest this year, at least not where they have tried in the past.
