A Yellowhammer was singing in fields outside Howwood first thing. Later, heading over to Greenock, a Kestrel and Buzzard were near How Barnaigh. Further along the road, two Collared Doves were just before Pomillan Bridge and a Lesser black backed Gull had two chicks on an islet in Knocknair'shill Reservoir. Back home, a Common Toad was clambering through the undergrowth in the back garden.
