Natural Connections

Modern life in Scotland is increasingly busy. The connections our ancestors had with nature and the land are being lost. As leisure time shrinks, or is filled with hi-tech experiences, opportunities to experience nature become fewer. And yet it is possible to connect with nature on a day to day basis. A day of Foxes in the city today. First of the day was one across four lanes of rush hour traffic on Helen Street. Another was in Cardonald, and two more were in Netherauldhouse in the wee small hours. It's amazing how people hardly notice them these days - they are such a familiar part of the urban scene.
