"The grand show is eternal. It is always sunrise somewhere; the dew is never dried all at once; a shower is forever falling; vapor is ever rising. Eternal sunrise, eternal dawn and gloaming, on sea and continents and islands, each in its turn, as the round earth rolls".

2 Comments:
A flock of about 30 stately swans were gliding over the Clyde at Langbank this morning and the hills on the other side were mirrored in the smooth water.
A mile or so further up the M8 two magpies hopped along the hard shoulder
I heard there was a Black Swan in amongst the flock at Langbank. Might be worth watching out for - they are lovely birds - although it won't be easy to spot it at 70mph.
