"The grand show is eternal. It is always sunrise somewhere; the dew is never dried all at once; a shower is forever falling; vapor is ever rising. Eternal sunrise, eternal dawn and gloaming, on sea and continents and islands, each in its turn, as the round earth rolls".

Hi wellchoughed. really enjoy your site and posts and look in almost daily to check what your seeing out and about near Renfrew. Just to let you know I'm sure a juvenile osprey was flying over Renfrew near to Roberson park tonight at 8.10p.m. I think you recently posted that ospreys where seen at West ferry and I've also seen elsewhere that they have been spotted at the Clyde near erskine this year too. cheers Stuart C
Hi Stuart C. Thanks for your comment. Glad you find the blog of interest. That Osprey over Renfrew is intriguing. I wonder where it was going. The sightings around West Ferry and Erskine presumably involve birds from Loch Lomond flying down the Vale of Leven to fish in the Clyde. It would be good if the landowner at Longhaugh Point would put up a pole on his/her land as I think they might nest there. My outside bet is that a pair will start using one of the navigation buoys in the Clyde. Stuart M.
