Natural Connections

Modern life in Scotland is increasingly busy. The connections our ancestors had with nature and the land are being lost. The drive home from Buckie via Deeside was fairly unremarkable except for two Wheatear and a Lapwing beside the old military road south of Braemar. Arriving back in South Cardonald, a House Martin was on the wing in spite of a cool west wind.
