Natural Connections

Modern life in Scotland is increasingly busy. The connections our ancestors had with nature and the land are being lost. As leisure time shrinks, or is filled with hi-tech experiences, opportunities to experience nature become fewer. And yet it is possible to connect with nature on a day to day basis. All around us, the great web of life continues to hold its shape, and nature continues its eternal cycles. Keep looking, listening, smelling, touching - and keep experiencing natural connections.

News from the web is that the regular autumn gathering of Ospreys on the Clyde continues with at least five birds fishing at Finlaystone and potentially another five off Inverclyde.

Stuart, where did you get the information there might be two lots of five Ospreys on the Clyde? The five at Finlaystone Point are on the border with Inverclyde, and the highest count reported has been eight birds there last week. Keep up the blogs! I follow them nightly.

I came across a tweet by Gaie Brown at https://twitter.com/gaie77/status/1038537589035290626?s=19 which suggested there were another 5 further downriver. However I had forgotten that Inverclyde starts at Finlaystone so they may be the same five.
