Modern life in Scotland is increasingly busy. The connections our ancestors had with nature and the land are being lost. An afternoon walk from Lomond Shores and up the side of Loch Lomond via Balloch in mild and calm conditions produced three Mandarins and numerous Moorhens on the Leven plus Goosander, Goldeneye, Tufted Duck and Great Black-backed Gull on Loch Lomond.
