A Song Thrush in song was a change from the usual three or four Mistle Thrushes which have been singing locally recently. Interestingly, I haven't heard a singing Blackbird yet this year, although there are plenty about*. Three Buzzards were over Pollok Wood. Coltsfoot was flowering profusely on waste ground at the old swamp in Pollok. [* Postscript: I heard one at 05:00 the next day].
