Yesterday's
Mistle Thrush pair were chasing off an intruder from what I took to be
their nest tree this afternoon. The pair of Goosanders were back on the
river under the Cardonald Place footbridge. Jackdaws were taking nest
material into an old woodpecker hole in a dead Spanish Chestnut and a
Moorhen was dragging away a stick about twice its body length.
