Notable birds during a  walk around Stockbridge in Edinburgh this morning were a drake Goosander on the river and a singing Blackcap near Inverleith Pond. Later in the day, Newhailes Estate, Musselburgh held three singing Chiffchaffs, a singing Skylark and a pair of Nuthatches entering a nesting hole right over the path.
