A bitterly cold wind and a high tide meant that relatively few species were visible along the Inverclyde coast north of Inverkip today. However a big flock of Canada Geese on the fields behind the coastal path held a fair smattering of Curlews, Oystercatchers and Common Gulls. Passerines included Meadow Pipit, Pied Wagtail, Song Thrush and Starling.
