Today started with fifteen Spanish Sparrows, three Feral Pigeons and ten Linnets at the complex where we were staying. A few Common Sandpipers were among the waders on the two beaches I visited today (Corralejo at Paseo Maritimo Bristol and El Cotillo beach). I couldn't help but wonder if any of them were Scottish breeding birds. El Cotillo held two Common Sandpipers, a Whimbrel, two Turnstone, three Bertholet's Pipits, a Yellow-legged Gull and two Collared Doves. Corralejo town held three feral Pigeons and a Collared Dove.
