A lunchtime walk around my home square in glorious sunshine produced the following interesting records: Six singing Chiffchaffs (the square usually holds two); a ligering pair of Goosanders; a singing Stock Dove; nest-building Jackdaws; an interacting pair of Common Buzzards and another single; various interesting plants in flower including several flowering shrubs in Rosshall Park.
