An interesting walk in Pollok Park today turned up an unfamiliar plants and a small wasp species, both of which will need further investigation (when I have time). The person who takes his blue macaw for walks around the area was mobbed by the gulls from the block of flats opposite my house. I noticed they had young ones out on the roof and that presumably explains their behaviour.

"The grand show is eternal. It is always sunrise somewhere; the dew is never dried all at once; a shower is forever falling; vapor is ever rising. Eternal sunrise, eternal dawn and gloaming, on sea and continents and islands, each in its turn, as the round earth rolls".
