Notable records from Queen's Park today were three female Tufted Ducks sleeping in the middle of the boating pond (not a great sign, I'm afraid, as it suggests that they don't have eggs to incubate) and the usual Mistle Thrush pair gathering food for a second (or even third) brood. An Oystercatcher called over Shawlands in the evening.
