Modern life in Scotland is increasingly busy. The connections our ancestors had with nature and the land are being lost. A Kestrel was hunting over the new pools at Port Glasgow first thing. Later in the day, a Raven passing over the west end of Greenock caused what must have been most of the roof-nesting gulls in the area to take to the air squawking noisily.
