A Moorhen was constructing a nest on Rosshall Park Pond when I visited this afternoon. Six Greenfinches were singing around the park. Other species in song consisted of Collared Dove, Stock Dove, Woodpigeon, Coal Tit, Blue Tit, Great Tit, Chiffchaff (4), Blackcap, Nuthatch, Wren, Starling, Blackbird, Robin, Song Thrush, Dunnock, Greenfinch and Goldfinch. A pair of Grey Wagtails were at the Moulin Weir again.
