Modern life in Scotland is increasingly busy. The connections our ancestors had with nature and the land are being lost. News from the web is that this year's BBC "winterwatch" will come from the Mar Lodge Estate, Deeside. Also, one of the Osprey chicks hatched at Loch Garten in 2012 has been found dead in Spain.
