I saw two Kingfishers just over the "border" in my neighbouring 1km square this lunchtime. I then heard a third bird around the middle of that square and then watched an individual (probably one of the first two) plunge-diving for a good ten minutes (probably with the aim of plumage care rather than fishing). Finally, just before home, another single flew under the Cardonald Place footbridge. After bemoaning the lack of Kingfisher sightings hereabouts, I recorded up to five individuals in less than an hour!
